History in more ways than one
On October 31, 2020, married couple Kandy & Justin from Hickman County made some history happen in downtown Nashville and a dream come true for this blog publisher. From the beginning, I have aimed to present my models as "outside the box" and something completely different from what you have seen elsewhere: A diverse group of ladies from the Nashville area who have a personality to go along with a look and a real story to tell. Not just some glossed over models in swimsuits. For the Halloween 2020 photo shoot, I even hired a male.
But Justin has a great female to go along with him, and along with him his wife came. Kandy became the third feature model in Cloud Nine Higher history on August 22, 2020. When I saw how open her husband was to the above-the-waist nudity, I knew I had the opportunity to pursue a dream project: A photo shoot involving a real married couple and glorifying the awesome commitment of love between these two individuals. Perhaps the first shoot ever based on the book of the Bible Song of Songs.
When I first began my contract modeling project, such a photo shoot was a real "long shot". I did well just to get models to show up for an interview. Some even wondered if this thing was real as I was handing them cash on the day of the shoot. And certainly the pandemic has not helped this at all.
But time can change everything, and I jumped at the chance to have Kandy and Justin pose out on the town and then in my studio penthouse in a tastefully sexually provocative setting. They were completely up to the task and made this inaugural project happen in a big way. Hopefully, other uninhibited couples will follow suit in the months and years to come.
I now have thirteen models who have produced pictorials in what is becoming a true model dynasty. Some of these ladies stay in touch, but most pose and move on with their lives. I am proud of all of them.
In another touch of history, Justin has worked on many high-profile Nashville construction projects, including the historic building at the corner of 4th Avenue North and Church Street. As reflected in the Daughters of the American Revolution historical marker, the site has roots in city history involving James Robertson and Charlotte Reeves Robertson. Most recently, the renovations to the building added another awesome boutique hotel to the Nashville lineup that includes Dream, Fairlane, Virgin, Bobby, and Moxy. So Justin was able to pose and also to describe first-hand some of the finer points of the project on a video I recorded.
Congrats to this dynamic husband-wife duo on some history in the making.
