OnlyFans is Not Only What You Think It Is

Image
In my latest promotional model recruitment campaign, I can sense reluctance from candidates when I begin talking about OnlyFans. When I was inspired to create an OnlyFans account, I had no idea what it is or what it is about. It is associated with subscription sexual content. My content is sexual, but it is not porn in my view.  Go ahead and disagree with me if you must. Reasonable minds could think differently. But my feature models pose topless in a graceful sort of Playboy  style nudity. There are no sexual acts performed. In the fall of 2020, I conducted a photo shoot based on the Bible book Song of Songs. Justin and Kandy are married. Some clothes came off. There were some provocative photos. But by contract Justin kept his blue jeans on. And Kandy just dropped her top. Nothing more.  So I photographed some sexually slanted poses in the spirit of the Bible. But my female models just pose for theme shoots. They don't perform sexually. They have the choice to be fully ...

Rachal is a friend who rocks

Image
I have been asked before if I date my promotional models. The answer is "No". Are they the sorts of girls I would want to date? Sometimes. Sometimes not so much. Sometimes I am not even attracted to them sexually. But if they are good models, they are keepers for me. I seek to blend faith and sexuality in this blog/magazine I created. Especially for single folks. Married people are welcome to this party, too. The biggest problem with sex to me is when it gets blended with jealousy. If one is married to another, the two should be mutually committed to each other. Not jealous. If you are not committed to each other and you have sex, you shouldn't be jealous if your partner picks another partner moving forward. That is the way it is, folks. But back to my models. Rachal is independent to be sure. I met her at Maggiano's Nashville in about 2006. She was blonde and cute. And I was attracted for sure. Fast forward to 2021: She is still blonde but beautiful. More beautiful t...

Baseball on TV is Moving Up

Image
Okay, so as I am posting this on June 17, 2021, I know all Cloud Nine Higher  fans and followers have taken the day off to watch the Cleveland Indians beat the Baltimore Orioles on MLB Network at midday. A more likely scenario is that you rushed home to catch the Cardinals and Braves on Bally Sports South in the early evening - Eastern Time start at Truist Park in Atlanta.  Perhaps you are a Dodgers fan or becoming a fan of Fernando Tatis Jr. and the Padres. You are stoked when either team has a late game on ESPN or MLB Network. Or you are logged on to MLB.com as I type this to watch the Tigers and the Angels. MLB.com rocks. The articles are lively and easy to read. They can be accessed with a few clicks or taps to give you the details of the latest game involving your your favorite team. You can follow the progress of every game with detailed stats and bright graphics.  My father Alvin Rose, an educator of over 40 years in Ashland City, Tennessee, taught me to love the S...

The renaissance of Church Street Park

Image
If you have resided in downtown Nashville for any length of time whatsoever, you know that Church Street Park (6th Avenue North and Church Street) brings a variety of responses and emotions when mentioned to the locals. In years gone by, it has become known as a haven for homeless folks and vagrants. I have nothing against homeless folks. I have volunteered time for The Contributor  newspaper as a lawyer off and on for many years and have answered every call I have received from a vendor.  But panhandling is definitely a sore point for downtown dwellers and in other venues such as the United States Post Office at 18th Avenue North and Church Street. Homeless people generally have mental health issues and a variety of reasons for being homeless. Handing out cash to them changes nothing. And them asking us and our visitors for cash is nothing more than a useless nuisance in a town that is more compassionate toward homeless folks than any other town I could imagine. During the re...

Republicans Should Move on from Trump

Image
In October 2020, I published a post stating that President Trump was about to benefit from some "October surprises", and I hinted that Joe Biden would be unable to carry any Southern states besides Virginia and Florida. For the record, President Trump carried Florida, and President Biden carried Virginia and Georgia. In February of this year, I admitted that my election prognosticating fell a bit short and also discussed the aftermath of the election. The numbers tell us a lot: The nation grew weary of Donald Trump's abrasive personality, mood swings, and Tweets and wanted a more traditional President sitting in the Oval Office. So they chose the other party and handed the "W" to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.  While Donald Trump is certainly a polarizing public figure, he has his followers. The post-election protests sadly peaked with vandalism in our nation's capitol building in January. And while the country in general seems focused on vaccinations, overcom...

The San Diego Padres are a Team to Watch

Image
And they came to my attention when my favorite team invaded Petco Park for a three game weekend series in mid May. Because of some quirky COVID-19 issues, Fernando Tatis Jr. was out of the lineup all weekend long. I am not as familiar with Eric Hosmer and Wil Myers. But they were out of the lineup too. The results: 5-4, 13-3, and 5-3. The St. Louis Cardinals left town without a win. Some have said that Tatis is the new face of Major League Baseball, and it is hard to argue with that. As I write this post on June 6, the San Diego club is two games off of the pace in the NL West and basically fighting with the Dodgers for second place. This past weekend (June 3-6) brought a split of a four game series at home with the New York Mets, who are leading the NL East. The Chicago Cubs are next up at Petco, and the fun should continue into this week.   Tatis is in the hunt to win the home run crown this year. He has 17 at the time of this post. West coast teams can be more difficult to ...

"Redistricting" May Mean Nothing To You ...

... but it is an important topic to consider as we look ahead to the big election year of 2022. In that year, Tennessee will choose a Governor, U.S. House members, state representatives, state senators, and judges. The voting in August and November, respectively, will impact the next eight years for judges and the next two to four years for all others on the ballot. So when you consider how the Fifth Congressional District of Tennessee might look when the election comes around, you might consider that our state is currently dominated by Republican leaders. With the exception of U.S. Representatives Steve Cohen of Memphis and Jim Cooper here in Nashville, all of the members of the U.S. House are Republican. Our U.S. Senators are both Republican: Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty. Senator Hagerty just took office this past January. Neither Blackburn nor Hagerty will be up for reelection in 2022.    Twenty-seven of thirty-three state senators are Republican, including the S...
