OnlyFans is Not Only What You Think It Is

In my latest promotional model recruitment campaign, I can sense reluctance from candidates when I begin talking about OnlyFans. When I was inspired to create an OnlyFans account, I had no idea what it is or what it is about. It is associated with subscription sexual content. My content is sexual, but it is not porn in my view. 

Go ahead and disagree with me if you must. Reasonable minds could think differently. But my feature models pose topless in a graceful sort of Playboy style nudity. There are no sexual acts performed. In the fall of 2020, I conducted a photo shoot based on the Bible book Song of Songs. Justin and Kandy are married. Some clothes came off. There were some provocative photos. But by contract Justin kept his blue jeans on. And Kandy just dropped her top. Nothing more. 

So I photographed some sexually slanted poses in the spirit of the Bible. But my female models just pose for theme shoots. They don't perform sexually. They have the choice to be fully nude. But the four feature models I have hired so far have just been nude above the waist. And that is totally fine by me.

When I interviewed Chrystal of La Vergne, Tennessee in September of 2020, she suggested OnlyFans for my brand. After giving it some thought, I thought, "Why not?". Cloud Nine Higher has been strictly a hobby thus far. Based on my income so far, it still is a hobby LOL. But the monetization is in progress. And I am planning a lot of great subscriber content for the price of $9.99 per month.

The licensing and rights clearance process is intense. It took me all of one weekend to clear my OnlyFans account to even be activated. Models must present front and back of a valid ID, sign a release, and pose holding the ID and pose again holding the release. I don't remember all of the requirements for an account, but I remember that there was a lot to comply with.

My feature model Kandy was a great help in starting my account, as she already had her own account. OnlyFans is more than just models sharing their intimate lives and getting naked for their fans. Content can be pretty much anything you want it to be, from personal fitness to gardening to tennis to pickup and attraction in downtown Nashville to politics, sports, law, and the Bible. Did someone say "sex"? 

So my dream of monetizing my brand moves forward.

P.S. For any models who are skittish about OnlyFans, just remember that if you don't pose for sleazy photos, you will never be seen in sleazy photos. On OnlyFans. Or anywhere else either.
