Whitney Be is the Kind of Model I Like a Lot
It's the week of Christmas 2021, and I am busy getting my law practice in shape so that I can spend time with my mother and brother for the holiday. Suddenly texts begin to come in from a professional colleague from summer time: Whitney Be a/k/a Whitney Blake. She has a dazzling idea for her next photo shoot: White lingerie, possibly with my favorite modeling accessory - angel wings (I own a black pair and a white pair that have been used by various models since Photo Shoot One in September of 2019).
Sort of surprising to hear from her. At the time, I had photographed zero models since Whitney posed for Photo Shoot 12 on a series of days in August of 2021. So we try to find a time we can work together just before Christmas. But her family from Alabama (understandably) wants her home a couple of days in advance of December 25.
We try for the next week, but Whitney's birthday is December 30, and she doesn't want to pose then. New Year's Eve is out, as her main pursuit in life is her work as a performing DJ. I emphasize that I cannot shoot on December 29 due to law cases and business. But we agree to add in a basketball theme pose just in time for the heart of the NCAA hoops season.
So what happens on December 29? Whitney cannot take "No" for an answer and starts hitting me up, saying that it will only take an hour, a basketball court is down the street, etc. I love the enthusiasm but have to respond with a very respectful "No".
I wasn't sure I was going to hear from Whitney again after that, but I did. And schedule a shoot we did - for her apartment in Nashville's SoBro neighborhood on Sunday, January 30.
And shine before the cameras Whitney did again - both in the white lingerie with angel wings and in a couple of creative, edgy, sexy basketball poses. My last basketball shoot was in February of 2020, and I discovered that the basketball I bought at Walmart needed air. A short trip to Amazon and a pump and needles were headed my way in time for the shoot.
Whitney injected her creativity into my suggested portion of the shoot as well as her own. And this enthusiasm is what Cloud Nine Higher models should aspire to demonstrate for every shoot.
This is no Playboy magazine. Not Cosmopolitan. Not Victoria's Secret. Not Sports Illustrated. I work as a juvenile law attorney and publish Cloud Nine Higher as a side adventure for people who live in and around Nashville. As far as I know, my models earn their main pay in other ventures.
Whitney is performing regularly at The Fennec in Birmingham near her home. Her brother plays football for the UAB Blazers of Conference USA, who upset the BYU Cougars in the Independence Bowl in December.
I have asked her to let me know when she performs locally. When she lets me know, I will let you know. You can download her single "No Mo" by pasting the link below into your browser:

Congratulations to Whitney on your second Cloud Nine Higher pictorial. I hope potential theme models are reading this.
