Khatt and Brittany are Double the Fun

In my time of photographing promotional models, I have gravitated away from duo photo shoots and toward solo female shoots. Here lately, I have accepted applications from males who are willing to pose with females (and most males are happy to pose with a female shoot partner 😉).

The first concept I developed was the topless feature model. But since only two ladies showed up for my first interview day, I wasn't about to turn both of them away. So the concept of the theme model began. My first models were Shiann of Clarksville (feature) and Alexa of Antioch (theme) on September 28, 2019. I realized that females enjoy each other's company and feed off of each other's energy for a better experience and better photographs too. The next five photo shoots involved female duos, and Shiann returned for two of those shoots. Chrystal of La Vergne posed for a topless pictorial at World Boss Studios in Goodlettsville on September 26, 2020.

Blonde Goddess came on the scene for a honky tonk shoot on October 21, 2020 and returned for CMA Awards night in November of the same year. Justin and Kandy of Hickman County became my first male-female duo on Halloween 2020.

At the beginning of 2021, the pandemic continued to affect my blog project. But my longtime friend Rachal of Hendersonville, who is quite the photo enhancer and publisher herself, stepped up for a Valentine's weekend shoot. Later in the year, my cameras were graced by the presence of Moxie, Breeana, and Whitney Be. Whitney Be and Moxie returned in the early part of this year of 2022, and Mia Rochelle, who posed alongside Chrystal in 2020, came back for a solo shoot at Fifth + Broadway on May 1.

The momentum for new models finally returned when a 24 year-old gorgeous Brittany of Fayetteville, Tennessee came to Nashville to interview. Brittany is a graduate of Lincoln County High School and is a natural Tennessee country girl with success in both hunting and fishing (she has bagged two nine-pointers). She is a car enthusiast and had the opportunity to pose in front of a Corvette at the downtown Nashville Hilton during our American Summer shoot on June 18, 2022.

She has aspirations of working as a real estate broker but also is a certified wedding planner and welder.

Brittany is as polite and professional as they come and came to the photo shoot sporting an American flag t-shirt, bell bottom jeans, and American flag boots too. But she appealed to all American men with her lingerie pictorial on the rooftop of The 500 Fifth.

This American Summer shoot took place in Walk of Fame Park between the Hilton and Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum downtown and poolside at The 500 Fifth for the lingerie poses.

Khatt of Clarksville brought some American spirit to the shoot, as her father served in the United States Army Special Forces - Green Berets. She sported red lingerie on the rooftop and tight camouflage shorts with a sports bra and vintage jewelry in the park. The intense Nashville summer heat eased up just a bit for the Saturday afternoon shoot, and God gave us an awesome sunny day just prior to the summer solstice.

Khatt is quite the character with a quick wit, energetic free spirit, and no-holes-barred approach to life. She comes to us from the Seattle area but also has a history in Clarksville.

In a similar spirit, I checked out Khatt's Facebook profile and took a bit of a risk in officially hiring her prior to meeting her. It definitely paid off.

Both models chose Walk of Fame stars for poses. For Khatt: Jimi Hendrix. For Brittany: Johnny Cash. The Johnny Cash Museum & Café is right around the corner from the park on 3rd Avenue South.

Duo shoots are complex compared to solo shoots but are still lots of fun. As I write this post, I have a contract for Moxie to return to my cameras with a male model she introduced to me. Hopefully the good roll and the buzz around my promotional modeling project will continue.

Khatt and Brittany became friends during the shoot and connected on social media. I hope to see them both in front of my cameras again in the future.
