Why Am I Here?

As Cloud Nine Higher attracts new followers and subscribers on Facebook, Instagram, and OnlyFans, some may wonder just why I publish this illustrated blog/magazine. Hopefully in this post I can answer this, at least to some extent. It began in late 2013 with some cool angel wing photographs and inspiration from the Creator. It would be Christian and sexy all in one fell swoop. Sex is used as a secular tool of Satan and his evil forces in this world. God inspired me to turn it around in my own small way in Nashville. I would discuss sports and events in downtown Nashville. I would compete with newspapers and other media in town. I would inspire thought and produce a positive vibe.

It faded in early 2017 with some life changes I experienced but returned in June of 2019 on the final night of CMA Music Fest - photos of various acts performing at Nissan Stadium and a video of "Old Town Road" performed by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Until late September of 2019, all photos of gorgeous ladies were ones that someone else took and that I had permission from the ladies to use. At first I wanted to call my models "Halos". But along with many other ideas, that idea faded. Today, they are called promotional models and members of my model dynasty.

I wanted my models to be paid in some form, and I wanted them all to pose provocatively topless. So I produced an advertisement on Facebook and waited for the most beautiful women in Middle Tennessee to apply en masse. The applications came at a trickle, not en masse. On a certain late summer Saturday, I scheduled five model interviews for the conference room at my apartment building - The 500 Fifth. Two of the five showed up, and my first pictorial was underway. I didn't dare turn anyone away at first. So one model was "feature" and would be paid $150 to pose topless. The other was dubbed a "theme model" and would be paid $75. Eventually, the "feature" concept went away. I no longer pursue topless models. Female models are required to pose in swimwear or lingerie for their initial pictorial.

The pandemic slowed things down in 2020 and 2021, and I produced only four pictorials in 2021 due to Tennessee court suspensions associated with COVID-19 and the uncertainty this caused for my pay (Yes, I am really a juvenile law attorney).

This year of 2022 marks a big leap for Cloud Nine Higher. I lost track of the number of photo shoots I have produced, but the momentum began in the late spring when Brittany from Fayetteville, Tennessee came to Nashville to interview. A scheduling quirk blessed us with a photo shoot partner named Khatt for a June pictorial dubbed "American Summer".

Brittany and Khatt became friends. More introductions happened, and I am now blessed with a group of models based in Fayetteville and also across the line in northern Alabama. Dakota of Hazel Green, Alabama has been an awesome and enthusiastic advocate for my blog when he is not working as a welder and taking care of his children.

The first mantra for Cloud Nine Higher was Faith. Fast Times. Allure. I market the blog to people age 23-33 who do not attend church. It is edgy. It quotes the Bible. I talk politics but do not take a partisan viewpoint. I promote participation but discourage partisanship.

I comment on college basketball, focusing on eight Tennessee universities (all but two are in Middle Tennessee); Major League Baseball, focusing on five teams of interest; and college football, focusing on the four FBS schools in Tennessee + Alabama and Auburn.

I am based downtown, so most of my Nashville content is about downtown nightlife and events - including Titans and Predators home games. The Bible content is meant to provoke thought - not to take positions on various religious arguments and principles. I attended a Bible class most every day of my college career at Lipscomb, but I am not formally trained as a minister. I take a mature approach. Those who attack or judge should not follow Cloud Nine Higher. If you disagree, I respect you. But be sure to disagree respectfully.

I now hire male promotional models who bring female shoot partners or who are recruited by a female to join in. So far, three males have posed. Another one is set to sign on in November of 2022. I am proud of the diversity of my models and sincerely love each one (in a sense😉). I treat them all well and keep my commitments. What goes around comes around for sure. And there is much more to come from my blog.
