So many murals. So little time.
With so many opportunities to photograph promotional models in 2022, my creativity has been challenged in terms of finding good venues for my awesome models to pose in. I love downtown Nashville and strive to produce as many photo shoots in my neighborhood as possible. Honestly, there are an abundance of potential venues - both outdoor and indoor. Some venues ask us to leave, but most are fine with us taking photos and posting them on our social media portals with some future tag recognition for the venue.
But I am not sure I have witnessed the warmth I saw in the iconic 12th South neighborhood for the third photo shoot depicting theme model Mia Rochelle of Jackson, Tennessee and Tennessee State University. 12th South is mostly boutique shopping and upscale casual dining. It's family friendly, and we saw the sophisticated side of bachelorette parties as well as families with children of all ages.
Passers by encouraged Mia countless times during this photo shoot by complimenting her look and basically stepping out of our way gladly. When Mia first posed for me in September of 2020, she was two months shy of her twenty-first birthday. Born in 1999, she remains the youngest model in Cloud Nine Higher publication.
Followers and subscribers of the blog already know Mia well from the 2020 topless football pictorial along with some highly-revealing baseball theme shots alongside her shoot partner Chrystal of La Vergne, Tennessee. Chrystal is currently the lone feature (topless) model in publication on our OnlyFans page.
Mia has subtle style and calm grace. Her history as a cheerleader for the North Side Indians in Jackson, her academic major of human performance and sport sciences, and her love of fashion make her the perfect fit to pose for my blog.
And strike the poses she did on October 22, 2022. 12th South is well blessed with murals and caught my eye in a Nashville Guru article about photo-worthy spots in Nashville. Some of the murals are pure pitches for the business that occupies the building they are painted on. Others involve no advertising at all. But all are attractive, and we could not possibly have photographed Mia in front of all of them.
In a couple of instances, we waited for other groups to take pictures. And in one instance, I took the opportunity to photograph a group of gorgeous ladies celebrating an upcoming wedding with one of their phones. I provided a tip or three about getting the best look in the sunlight.
At the end of the shoot, Mia helped out with my sports commentary by posing in her Tennessee State t-shirt and a Tennessee Vols t-shirt that my brother graciously allowed us to use. Perhaps these will be almost as popular as the "football in front of the boobs" pictures from September of 2020. 😉
Yes, I may be sort of a "downtown snob". 😂 But this venture to 12th South won't be the last time I scoot out of my own neighborhood for a Cloud Nine Higher photo shoot.
