The Shrine Circus and Our Circus, Too

A couple of sexy outgoing models who know each other and enjoy posing together for photo shoots. Two friends who accompany said models. And a male model who brings a female along to introduce and to sign contracts. The combination is "deadly", but "dead on" in a good way for an early October afternoon of photo shoot fun.

On October 8, 2022, the parking arrangements had to be special because of the Shrine Circus taking place simultaneously at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. If you come downtown and are looking to save money on parking, head for Park Happy on 2nd Avenue North and Gay Street near Rader Bonding Company. You may not like the idea of parking near the new prison or just a bit farther away from the honky tonks than some of the more expensive lots. But I think that my area is more ideal than it may seem to most. There are lots of police and deputy sheriffs in the area. Let's not forget the fire station and state capitol too.

In any event, we synchronized everything perfectly, and I reimbursed my models for the modest parking fee. This crew turned out to be mostly fun and not too "high maintenance". I don't recall all names, but the afternoon and evening will not be forgotten.

Khatt of Clarksville trucked in first and ended the day leaving costume supplies in the studio penthouse of the publisher. After visiting with her for a bit, I greeted Dakota, prospective model Kimmy, and three other friends who joined us for the entire photo shoot.

I give my models leeway to plan their own pictorials. As long as the creativity flows and a few simple rules are followed, they have the freedom to blossom. This philosophy paid off in a big way for Khatt and Brittany Act 2. They first posed for a Cloud Nine Higher pictorial on June 18, 2022. 

The first phase of Act 2 involved a tribute to the Playboy bunnies. I crave fishnet, and fishnet I got from both Khatt and Brittany. Khatt was attractive and took initiative for her first pictorial in June with Brittany. But she definitely cranked it up a notch for this October shoot. I took the bunny photos in the lobby of The 500 Fifth. Brittany suggested the fitness center for some "bunny fitness" shots, and this turned out to be a great idea. The sunlight made the outdoor portion of the shoot somewhat challenging, but some good photos resulted. 

The impromptu trip to the laundry room and washing machines on the basement floor of The 500 Fifth turned out to be dynamite.

The second phase of the shoot was at the fall pop-up bar at Fairlane Hotel on Union Street near 4th Avenue North. We have experienced some minor hiccups recently shooting at hotels, i.e. the Hermitage. But the Fairlane welcomed us. We ordered drinks, and they allowed us to take some marvelous fall photos - both indoor and outdoor. The structure of the pop-up bar followed the previous "Alice in Wonderland" concept from winter 2022 but completely replaced the scenery. The result was outstanding.

Brittany of Fayetteville, Tennessee has become a Cloud Nine Higher favorite during recent months and following three pictorials - two duos with Khatt and one solo. The advertisement for Facebook followers featuring a June photo of Brittany and Khatt on the rooftop of The 500 Fifth has produced major results.

Khatt of Clarksville improved in a big way for her October 8 pictorial with Brittany. She has a history in Washington state but is carving out her place in greater Clarksville, Tennessee. I had the opportunity to have dinner and drinks with Khatt at Stateside Kitchen following the photo shoot and an initial post-shoot "after party" gathering at Tin Roof Lower Broadway. I hope Khatt continues to work with Cloud Nine Higher.

The momentum from this photo shoot led to plans for a Cloud Nine Higher float in the 2022 City of Fayetteville, Tennessee Parks and Recreation Christmas Parade. I look forward to seeing where the momentum leads.
