SKB and Derrick - Three Nights. Twice the Fun.

December 2022 has been quite the month for Cloud Nine Higher, and there is more to come. We started on Saturday, December 3 with the Fayetteville, Tennessee Christmas Parade float: Me; promotional models Dakota, Brittany, and Brandie; and some of their children on board.

The action continued the following Friday night, December 9 at Eden Event Center in Madison, Tennessee - the Birthday Burlesque Celebration staged by Dilsia Alfaro's D&Company Promotions. Models SimoneKnowsBest and Derrick represented Cloud Nine Higher at the VIP table.

On December 12, Whitney Be traveled from Birmingham, Alabama to pose for her fourth Cloud Nine Higher pictorial at The 500 Fifth. Whitney is a performing DJ and recording artist who performs often at The Fennec in Birmingham. She made her own angel costume and plans on using some of the photos as artwork for her project Love Vibration.

SimoneKnowsBest of Christiana, Tennessee returned to my cameras on December 17 for a solo shoot - assisted by Derrick. We created the pictorial at Public Square in front of the Metro Courthouse, Fairlane Hotel, and Dream Hotel.

But on to the main subject of this blog post - the debut of Derrick as a promotional model alongside his lady Simone on November 12. We have laughed at our consistency of being asked to leave venues such as the Hermitage Hotel. We continued the trend at the Noelle hotel on 4th Avenue North. All was well until we got just a bit too close to a private wedding event. We scooted out as soon as we were requested to do so.

I am no expert on fashion. I leave this part of my photo shoots to the creative minds of my models. In my mind, Derrick was a bit more casual, and SKB was a bit more formal. It worked perfectly as far as I am concerned.

After some spectacular shots at the entrance of the Noelle, we proceeded to Printers Alley for some less formal shots at the outdoor Mexican restaurant, in front of the rental condominiums, and in front of the gigantic dancer painting.

The highlight of the pictorial perhaps was created on the rooftop of the Bobby Hotel. During the winter months, this hotspot has become known for its igloos where guests can dine in style. There are plenty of portable heaters and lots of winter décor. We began this portion of the shoot in the great outdoors.

SKB brought an elegant swimsuit, and we found the perfect place for this pose - an indoor area in front of several one-person unisex restrooms. The hostess on duty was kind enough to accommodate us for poses on a sofa and then in front of an artificial pine tree at the entrance to the restaurant and bar.

Simone is not afraid to show her body, and her confidence is inspiration for other Cloud Nine Higher female models.

Derrick is a native of Paducah, Kentucky and runs his box trucking business WarDog Logistics here in the Nashville area. He and SKB are both graduates of La Vergne High School and reside in Christiana, Tennessee. He is the fourth male model in the history of my blog. As significant other to SKB, his pictorials will be limited to ones where she is his shoot partner. No official word yet on possible trio photo shoots.😉

I hire male models who bring a female to pose with them or who are introduced by a female who wishes to pose with them. As always, I welcome interest from both males and females who are confident, beautiful/handsome, and bring a strong personality that is a fit for my brand and my photo shoots.
